I'm on the scrounge again - 2 things that Pistonheaders might be able to help out with:

1) I'm after a Compaq iPaq (or two!) - ideally 3950 spec. I'll be using it daily during the expedition to upload images & video to my site. Does anyone a) have an iPaq they're not using that I might be able to borrow, or b) know where I can get one for a minimal outlay? And before anyone suggests HP/Compaq - they "don't have the budget to help". Brds

2) I might need one of you web designer types to knock up a single page of html - v. basic. If anyone (with the requisite skills) can spare the time to do this, I'd love to hear from you.

Can't help with a device I'm afraid Ben, but just curious as to how you are going to recharge it? They are not renown for their exemplary battery life.

You might be better off with an alkaline battery powered Psion or Palm.

Hi guys - thanks for all the emails (!) - I'm wading through them now.

iPaq will be powered by a Walter Mitty arrangement of lithium AA batteries linked together...
