Sharp, smart, slick. Very cool We all know most of those photos, fantastic stuff

pardon the hijack... but when shooting pics like these:

Do you set them up before hand, or lie in wait for the car? I really miss my old swivel screen, and dont always want to be looking down the lens, especially when taking (or not taking) shots like the one above.

I was testing with him and he was just doing loop after loop so I waited for him to come past... then got my face ruined by flying gravel and bled all over the camera (managed to move the lens in time just before it would have been smashed... definately worth it though... ive got a whole series of shots of him coming past at about 90mph. That shot there was at about 300-400mm.

It's certainly not slow, although it usually takes betewen 0.5 and 2 seconds for the pictures to load.
It's probably just me that being used to broadband I always expect a page to load instantly

Crap site!...no turquoise Noble and no Fiat 500.

Martin.

PS - and what on earth posessed you to put a photo up of a grinning lunatic hanging out of a car window?

No...that would be another PHer who frequents the photo & video forum. I'll let you guess who

I love the images, but being honest I prefer your old site.

(If only for the fact I could get new desktops from there easily. I currently have your one of the Murcielago on my PC at work )

Stunning images, as always & I suppose if you are using your site as an online portfolio to get more work, rather than to provide desktops to free loading PH'ers, then it's an improvement on you previous site IMHO.

Hope that helps

Chris (sit on the fence) Mapey!!

Just read your post again, properly this time I thought you had written Mr Watkinson.

You might be right I'll let him own up rather than "out" him

Martin.

I really like it. Of quite a shock was the image I found most striking:

The staircase - excellent!

Thats the point really... i wanted something a bit smaller and more manageable with less (hopefully better) and a bit broader images...as for desktops there isnt really much i can do about that as I dont really own many of the photos so I cant give them out.

You're supposed to say "Ahh yes, that one. Just one of many cracking shots I rolled off that day, cheers"
