Could be....
Dry joints in Pod Circuit boards (Remove & Send back to factory)
One or both of the 2 ribbon cables up to the pod from the control unit in the foot well (they look like some old style printer cables). Look for rubbing
Try re-seating all connections to the control unit in the driver side foot well (large silver thing about a paperback size) Make sure it is anchored correctly down as well. Keep away from anything too warm.
Hope this helps

aha!
its not as complex as it sounds, honest! Water ingress will follow cables, just disconnect and dry out, then re-connect. Actually the difficult bit is getting upside down in the foot well!
Also - if it is following a cable coming through the bulkhead - just seal it. Use the same universal sealant TVR use - either, blue, black or clear from most auto factors.
Call me if you are unsure - TVRCC website has the details

Hi Jo5eph,
I had the same problem. I go to RVT as well and Ian had a pretty thorough look at it and seems to have sorted it. He did comment that it could be down to water ingress through the windscreen seal which I've heard is a bit of a recurring issue. I'm going to get the screen refitted before the onset of winter.
Cheers,
P

Thanks guys - just an update for you.
I started the tam this morning and the display was worse than ever. Several annoying lines across the screen. Later that morning I went and got 2 new rear tyres. As they jacked the car up some water came out near the drivers door. After that the screen was nearly perfect. Lets see just what the hell happens next.

Do you have a brand for the sealant? I want to get some but was wondering what to look for in Halfwits.
