Another M4 Accident
Discussion
Yet another big accident in the scamera partnership zone of the M4 yesterday afternoon (just prior to J17 heading West)
Caused by an artic colliding with a bridge support and turning over.
Wonder how long it takes before this becomes "an accident caused by excess speed"
After all, the scamera partnership classifed a suicude (bloke threw himself off a bridge) as an excess speed related accident, so what hope is there for a trucker!!

Long and convoluted story which I wont bore you with, but suffice to say that Titcombes the recovery people had the grim task of recovering the scafolding truck. The truck hit the bridge support on the other side of the barrier - which is quite a feat. However, the emergency services are saying that it is most likley to be a heart attack which caused the chap to just simply drive off the motorway, round the barrier and then into the support - basically he hit it at full speed and was instantly killed.....
As much as I would be the first to jump up and down about speed cams on the M4 - I think in this case it wasnt anything to do with speed or the cams.... An unfortunate and dramatic death....
