Tax???

How come the tax reminder came in for the cerbera at £175 and the tax for my Alfa 147 1.6 which has as much power as a half sucked polo mint be £190

Is this because they have no data for TVRs? I would have thought with no data they would be straight in at the top level?

Because your Cerbera was registered before the requirement of emmissions pollution tax, or whatever it is.

My Cerb and Rangey are both £175 p.a.

Great isn't it! I was expecting at £230 bill come tax time but got a nice surprise!

That is spooky, mine just dropped through the door yesterday. My wife is also driving an Alfa and just paid out the £190 compared to my £175.. I think March 2001 was the date, the new Alfa is October 01 so just clips inside whereas the Cerb is an elderly 1998 model.

I don't see why TVR's should pay more than even a mini!

They're light weight and people don't use them as much so therefore cause less damage to the road over the year! (unless your heavy on the right foot in a low gear )
They might have high emissions, but then they should re-name it air tax not road tax!!
