Sluggish starting?

97 Chim 4.0 been a bit sluggish starting recently. Went for a 50 odd mile round trip at the weekend and all seemed fine. However went to start it on monday morning and only just started. Same again this morning.
When started all running normally, so just wondered if my battery was kaput? Its 5 years old but the car has only covered 24,500 miles from new. Any ideas appreciated before I get a new one..

Mine got a bit slow the winter I bought it... turned out to be holding a good 8V charge

Also cured the laboured hot starting it suffered...

The battery doesn't keep an eye on the odometer sadly.. 4-5 years is about all they seem to be good for in Chimaera's in my experience.
