Submission Form for Resource Consent - Hampton Downs

I am sure some of you will have already received this from one source or another if not do your bit and pass it on. This is for everyone, whether a Motorsport fanatic or not, to complete a submission form in favour of this. This will be a fantastic track if these guys can get it moving.

Submissions are being called for by the Waikato District Council and we need as many positive submissions of support as possible by June 12.

It is important that you and your club members use your own words and avoid any standardisation when you fill out the submission.

Please photocopy this form and give to interested club members so that we can have the maximum effect on the Council. Show them that NZ Motorsport is a force to be reckoned with!

Filling out the form - guidelines;

Question 2, you need to mention (in no particular order) the circuit, apartments, industrial park, lifestyle blocks, camping ground, restaurant, convention centre and driver training facilities.

Question 3, You support the submission and give in your own words why you support the submission.

Question 4, you want approval of the concept as presented (in your own words!).

We really appreciate you and your members taking the time to fill out this form and mailing it to the Waikato District Council and we look forward to constructing a great Motorsport Park for all New Zealanders to enjoy.

There should be covenants put on the lifestyle blocks in that they can only be sold to fellow petrol head types in order to avoid a repeat of the bollix going on with Western Springs!

Also, from the artists impression, it looks like there will be a circular skid pan, hopefully that will go ahead with the usual water spray arrangement for traction testing.

And with the drags only a short drive aways it could make for a good weekends playtime.
