GT at Donnington on Sunday?

The Elise will be back in my hands 
but I will still not be driving it. 
The 'funny green' is better known as snot green in our household.
And the good lady
will be giving me left, so I cannot complain too much about the mode of transport.

Morning guys and gals,
I'll be in either the black XJR or the black 111R, not sure as which yet I guess it depends how heavy a Saturday night I have!
Can't wait for Sunday as I missed the UK round of the FIA GT's at Silverstone last week as I stupidly volunteered to work, plus this will a great warm up pre Le Mans!

What a great day the two of us had yesterday, although the weather wasn't great I think that we were pretty lucky in that it didn't pour down all day!
The racing was absolutely superb, the mix of weather really throwing the circuit into a wet, dry, wet, dry situation which made for some interesting moments to say the least!
I did try and spot some of you guys but the weather meant most people were sheltering under their brollys, I was in the black XJR Jag but the cars that I did spot were -
S1 Exige (grey)
S1 Motorsport Elise (silver)
S2 Exige (yellow)
S2 Exige (blue)
Noble (silver)
Impreza STi (silver) parked next to me!
Anyone here? If not what car were you in and I'll see if it jogs my shockingly bad memory!

Hi Ben. We weren't sure which was your car as there was a black XJR and a black 111R parked up! Our cars were up on the banking by Goddards.
Agree about the racing, absolutely rivetting GT race! Great result for the Marcos to come second behind the Ecosse Ferrari. I bet Luke Hines is popular at LNT today...
Shame Scuffham's co-driver had an off on the first lap. The PS looked great in the yellow and black
. Better luck next time as it certainly appeared to be quick enough in the race. Racing Rod's race appeared to end prematurely with his Porsche retiring, somewhat dented, to the pits.

Can't wait to see your pictures trackside, my favourite car of the day (other than the Loti obviously) had to be the Panoz just for the noise! 
The rooster tails of spay and the headlights shining through the rain really is quite special isn't it, I know that the two of us had a great day as I'm sure you guys and gals did.

Yeah, what a shame eh, Jan was going like a train, we were up six/seven places before the incident,he's quick in the wet, I think that we got 4th quickest in class in the wet practice.
It was just one of those things, the guy in the Ferrari lost his mirror on the corner before and didn't see Jan alongside him before he turned in, that's racing !!!
The body damage is fairly light, we've lost a couple of rads, the front moulded bumper, and two rims are buggered, but the real problem could be the engine temp at 115 degrees for 60/75 seconds, we may have done some serious damage there, we'll see, fingers crossed.
