Microsoft is nowhere near a train and it's a complete nightmare to get to in the car on account of the enormous volume of traffic heading to/from the M4 on the A329(M).

The MS campus is very impressive though..

There's room to land a helicopter.

So, ironically, it's a bit like their products. All show, but when you come to use it... slow as fcuk.

Yep.. lol.. last time I was there, sat in the canteen, the carousel thingy that takes the trays of used crockery into the kitchen suffered some sort of mishap and dozens of plates crashed to the ground...

CarZee: "Fcuking hell! Even the restaurant crashes here!!"

Depends on the "depth" of your Mickeysoft skills, seems to be a strong market for Citrix stuff, Active Directory skills - I'm sure you don't do just PC installs! (£10 an hour stuff . . .)

Oh and don't forget the predicted surge in ASP.NET (or should that be .NOT) market killing off Java . . .

Well maybe I should have been more descrptive... I've been rather lazy in recent years and have had rather an easy job with good pay (for the job) but got too scared to leave 'casue the market was/is looking so poor but I've got so fed up with it that i'm now starting to look.

I've worked for 6 years in a banking envirmonet + setup small networks with all the bits - MS based - plus I have v.good knowledge of hardware - etc. - Don't want to write my CV here just looking for 3rd line or Infrastructure based job - (MS based).

www.cwjobs.co.uk/cw_br/jobsearch.asp

try this. I get a usually daily email of about 50 jobs, and that's filtered by type and region. Lots of decent ones too.
