Hi everyone in Tvr land. I am now in the posistion of looking for second hand Tvr's for use on the road and track,But when I went to a local specialist car dealer today he said he won't stock TVR's as he has got to offer a 6 month warranty and it costs him to much money . This has got me a bit worried as i expect a few minor hiccups but is TVR ownership going to cost a fortune and what should I be prepared for .The car I was looking for was either a tuscan or a tamora and would it be better going to a main dealer and paying a bit more but getting alonger warranty. Thanks

So find another specialist. Plenty of indie TVR garages around - many advertise on here too.

TVRs can be trouble, but so can BMWs and Porsches. IF they've sat on a forecourt for months they will probably have a few teething problems. Otherwise, take one for a drive and you'll either love them/but one or hate them.

Just remember, in 10 years time these kind of cars will be outlawed as they scare old people and eat small children. Enjoy it while you can, then get something German and sensible when you're 5-10 years older. 911 are for 50 year olds, Astons are for 60 year olds...

No secrets , But I have also got a bike for sale which I am happy to answer any questions about but might be a bit boring on a TVR link ,

the thing that really gets me is that the recipients of the M in YHM have probably worked that out by receiving the er M, so the only people who benefit from YHM are the people who HGM. So that should be an email to them all to tell them YHGM. Sadly at this point, the people who are YHGM are in the YHM class, which is er, um a paradox.

So this means that the people who say YHM are a bunch of well, you know, who should know better! So, grow up and stop posting YHM!!

Bedtime.

Yeah but I dont normally check my E mails at weekends as they are usually work related and as a car and bike fan I normally come here first and assumed others might as well.
