www.hmrc.gov.uk ?
Hi Ted,
Yeah sort of, but im after the ins and outs really.
More of a forum based site that specific to VAT.
A sad affliction. Is there a cure?
I'm not aware of any specific website for VAT or tax enthusiasts.
Obviously, the government have related websites which contain some information but trying to find out what you really want to is quite difficult.
Basic VAT legislation is found in VAT Notices which you will find if you drill down for ages through the HMRC website.
Be warned, there are hundreds of the things.

I would freely administer advice on such forums. Up do a very defined point where you have to pay me. That point, incidentally, would be right after you went for the tax fiddle that was loosely described but now dont really have the knowledge to pull it off through your accounts.
But I have poor morals and I'm not an accountant anyways.
I cant help but think that a forum would be a good idea on the hmrc site. Something to make getting an answer easier cant be bad.

Read the turquoise book and the hundred leaflet amendments from back to front, but is there a VATheads.com site or something similar or some reading literature.

And yet you DO!
