GT2 - ally panels or steel ??

All you knowledgeable people : does the GT2 have aluminium panels or steel ? if ally, then which ones ?

u dont say 993 0r 996 ?..................993 all, save last 21, alloy doors , bonnet , GRP spats, engine cover ,last 21 '98 models, commonly called EVO s, steel doors ...........

surely when you asked a question about "the Gt2" it was natural to assume you meant a 993

I thought the 993 was just called "GT"... at least that's what it said on the back.

steel ....I think porsche had moved on from ali panels with the improvement in composite panels....late model 996 Gt2 has some carbon effect goodies, as in mirrors and rear spoiler....GT3RS has carbon composite front luggage lid...so you could fit one on a Gt2 or go the whole way and get a nice bare carbon weave number as some Gt2 owners have done.

Well, a quick and easy method is to get a magnet and see if it sticks to each panel, Blue Peter style!
