Just received an email from a contact in the far east. He is selling a marketing tool called a webkey.
Has anyone heard of this before or know where I could get some in the UK? Or is it just a case of programming a normal USB storage device. This is what he said...

''Automatically opens the pre-programmed webpage when inserted into a USB slot
Great for marketing your company or product
Small and easy to distribute
Logos, domain names or brands can be impritned on the surface''

Thanks, Sam

yep... this is a simple thing that has been glossed up to you! Basically its a standard usb memory key which has an autorun file on it. Autorun is hard coded into xp so that when a new cd or drive is inserted it looks for this file. This file teels the computer what to run automatcially ;-)

Buying usb keys with your details on is easy - do a google search in the uk- there are loads!

hope this helps

I'd have thought a Business Card CD would have been cheaper. Would that work for what you want? A search on Google returns quite a few hits for companies who supply/print them for you.
