Fan Cooling the MSD Unit? Anyone tried it?

I have the MSD main unit mounted inside the engine bay on the bulkhead.

But after reading the comments about it overheating and dying in another thread I started to think about putting a couple of little 12 volt fans on it, rather than move it back into the cabin space...

Has anyone tried this?

I was probably going to make a little ally bracket to duct some cool air to it and stick a pair of small computer style fans on it...

I hadn't seen that thread about them overheating, if that is the case position will be everything. I had mine mounted right down low on the engine side of the bulkhead near where the handbrake cables pass through the bulkhead. I know from taking temperature measurements in the engine bay that it never gets particularly hot down there. It might be easier to just lower it than move it to the cockpit or fitting 12v fans to it (where will they get cool air from?).
