Nearly finished....registering interest in the old girl
Discussion
Not strictly for sale, hence not in classifieds, but now Dave and I have nearly finished sprucing dicky's old 350i, it may be time to move on...
If anyone is interested feel free to email me..I don't know what it's worth so would value the collective opinion as to what I should ask for it, whether on ebay or autotrader, classifieds etc..
What's been done, or being done, or will be done prior to sale..
Full respray, new stickers.. Not up to aston martin standard, but looks good. Sprayed in Ferrari rosso corsa, which looks fab - silver stickers, as original.
12 Months MOT...not done yet but pre mot done, it needs a new rack, and some other odds and sods, chassis has been fully checked, and is fine.
Full service - all fluids will be drained and replaced, including gearbox.
Interior has been stripped, ecu fixed, seat base re welded, seats cleaned - but not dyed so not like new.. all door panels dismantled, cleaned, veneers stripped and painted as per the wedge pages, but metal strips sprayed metallic black to match faux carbon fibre on the dash.. (ask dicky - it looks ......different.
)
Gauges, dials and stuff works, windows work, pop ups work....
It's had loads of new stuff, and if you want a laugh read my write ups on said beastie so far, and there's more to go on.
Dicky will back me up on the fact it's a good un, and now I can hand on heart say it's one I would put mine and Daves name to, so if someone wants a nice shiny one for the wedgefest, give me a call chaps...
What's it worth fellow wedgers...
Onwards and upwards.

The day I drove moh back from wales..
This was taken before respray - spent a whole day polishing to find it back to faded pink the next day.
After rubbing the bugger down for seemingly weeks....
And during..
These below were taken after respray but before stickers put on....
And these after we put the stickers on, still awaiting a good polish...
That's mini silverback in the middle, he did the spraying......
Joke.......

Nice job Mike and Dave. MOH deserves the attention. I can say that during the 12 years of my ownership She was used as my every day car and served me well. The only mjor cost was for fitting the new cam and followers (didn't need it but i was searching for more horses). I hope that if you do sell Mike that the procedes go to funding a BIGGER BADDER WEDGE
PS luverly job on the wheels - what did you use?
