ECU and Loom re-install

Any body got a good picture showing the best way to stuff the ECU and loom back in the footwell? Pulled it all out fine (to get to battery) now can't quite see the best way to get it all back in neatly!! Does the ECU rest on top to the battery with the loom above it near the heater pipes? Or was the ECU above the pipes with loom below on top of battery? How I wish I had paid more attention when removing.......any advice appreciated. Had the usual dead battery problem.

hi not sure if it is the same as a an early 93 4.3 but mine is as follows,
the ecu is tucked in between the right hand side of the battery box and the centre consol and loom is on the top of the battery box.
any spelling mistakes blame the spiced rum

Cheers Martin - I'll try that out - I could well have pulled out the ECU from over on the right. It's a bit of a shock when you see the state of the spaghetti wiring! Mines a '95 500HC, don't know if anything changed from yours.

Pulled mine out last weekend to replace the carpets and seats. Totally agree with Martin, ECU tucked down the right hand side with the loom coiled up on top of the battery. I also mounted a battery cut off switch in the glovebox to stop the flat battery problems through the winter months (looks and fits great).

Thanks Brightside - tucked down the right side of the battery box sounds like the way to go, I'll try it in the daylight tomorrow - not easy to see down there!
