As the proud owner of a 2000 4.0 Chim I would really like to know what colour it is. You may ask why don't I just go and look at it or am I colour blind ? Well..... its a metallic blue colour or is it Metallic gray or could be a dark silver. Really not sure depends on the light. seems to be more blue than anything but could be Gray. Christopher Neil thought it might be Titanium, but I've seen one of those and its definatley not that.
Great colour I really like it but would like to know what it really is.
Body code is P422-B215B.
Appreciate any help or advice on how I can find out.

can you post a photo? Then we can all have slightly 'educated' guesses - if that's what you're after that is?!

In fact, if we parked next to each other and viewed the resulting image through grey spectacles, thats the colour!

Phoned the factory with a similar question about my 2000 Chim 400, they put the sprayer on the phone, I told him the code, he told me the colour without even looking anything up - I was well impressed.

why don't you decide what you want to call it? - only a sprayer is going to argue with you - and you can tell 'im it's a tvr special

Ring the factory on 01253 509000 and ask for "Gerbil"
He is the manager of the paint shop and will be able to help you out.

Hope this helps
Cheers,
Nick

Phoned the Factory and spoke to a guy in the paint shop (not Gerbil - he was in his burrow) Within 5 mins he gave me the answer...... Slate Blue is the official colour with wedgewood blue hide.
Not as exotic as I would like but at least I know now.
Will still try and post pics as it is a great colour and looks the business.
Thanks for the TIP Nick, the factory were really most helpful
