I will be coming round the M25 and up the M40 to S club.... anyone fancy meeting a South Mimms on Saturday morning?

Is there somewhere around M40 J2 where we could meet? I can meet you at South Mimms Paul and then we could jump off at Beaconsfield to meet the others?

Depends on what time you want to arrive. According to Map Point its about an hour and a half to Ettington from South Mimms so if you add a half hour or so to meet up with the M40/M25 guys and take into account motorway 'progression' we're looking at about 2 hours. Half eight sounds good to me - although probably not to my neighbours

Junction 2 of the M40 at Beaconsfield should take about 25 minutes from South Mimms. I'll drop in on my way home from work tomorrow night and scout out a carpark or lay-by we can head for.

Suggestion for meeting the South Mimms guys, as you come off the M40 at juction 2, 3rd exit off the roundabout there is a layby on the left hand side, what do you think?

Sounds good to me. Had a look tonight and aside from waking the odd long distance lorry driver, we shouldn't have a problem there. I reckon we'll get there from South Mimms by 9:15.
