Where is the best place to sell your porsche?

I am attempting to sell my basalt black 02 996TT. I have decided to put it up for sale, but where do I go and who should I advertise with?

This must be a topic that concerns us all at some stage, so help!

I have tried that before with no success. That was a riviera blue 993 C2 though, so an odd colour. Does Top Marques work for Porsches generally?

I sold mine within a week via Pistonheads (the Seal Grey 997). I'm also still fielding about 10 calls a day via Autotrader and Top Marques, however about half of those seem to be from dealers and canvassers. If the car is what someone wants, and you're realistic about what you're going to get, you should have no trouble. Good luck.

On that note Andrew it IS a good idea to have 'no canvassers please' where ever you advertise ...Then , at least you can tell em to Rev up and off , if you do get a call from them.

Good advice. However, I have worked in property sales and now, as a Landlord, I look forward to cold callers and the like as it gives me an oppertunity to practice my favourite words.

Pistonheads is good, but a forum for wannabe OPC's. Hence prices can be low.

I have generally sold with more interest and at higher prices, in Top Marques.

Sunday Times and Autocar, have been disappointing.
