well impressed with the quality. put media into a machine and uplaod what you want then you can correct colour. apparently what you see on the screen is what you get so I'll need to check that when I go back tomorrow. I got 8 9x6's in under 30mins and I'll be comparing the prints to my R2400 later. there is a copyright declaration at the start so should be no problem to get proper studio prints done.

I got a set of photos developed at ASDA and the quality was truly dreadful. It was matt paper and they came out looking really dull!
I wouldn't use ASDA again, the paper was also quite grainy, felt like cheap cardboard. Certainly not photo paper!
My friend recently got prints at ASDA done, only last week in fact, and his were just as bad!
I wouldn't use ASDA again!
I now have a HP Photolab, so I just stick in my memory card and print off. Or hook it upto PC and edit the photos before I print them. Only does 6x4s but quality is excellent.

quite possibly.
when I was in buying a memory card, a customer asked one of the store assistants if they can do colour to black and white from prints. She said yeah she thinks they can do colour to black and white, but had to check if they can do black and white to colour....

Although it's nice to get them near instantly, if you make a lot of 6x4 prints from digital media Photobox.co.uk are cheaper (even at their highest rate) and, in my experience, more consistent in quality than the supermarkets.
They do...
Nail, head, etc.

I'd wager they don't have the same processing equipment in every store, so you are probably correct.

I think the equipement might be faily standard but, obviously, the staff is a different matter!

But why would this be? Not every store has photo processing, some have it added at a later date, others have had it for years. Why would every store have the exact same kit in it? Or use the same paper, etc.? Seems unlikely to me.
