While uncharacteristically cleaning the car last weekend I dried the front indicator light andit promptly dissapeared into the nose of the car. I fished around got a hold of it but couldn't find any cllip or fasteners that might suggest how it was to be held in. I resorted to a quick clean and application of clear sealant (amazing how handy this stuff is).

Can anyone tell me what i should use?

From what I can remember of other threads about the front indicators I think you have employed the original approved TVR factory fitting method already. I intend to put clear lenses in mine at some point and am expecting to be the using silicone sealant, of which TVR are so fond (IMHO it is actually brilliant stuff if used judiciously).

Yup. TVR bonded them in with silkaflex. One of mine did the same thing a few months ago. Girlfriend seemed to think it was "typical". No idea what the mad cow meant.

yep messy job bonding with silicone it is then, clean grills & opening faces with lighter fuel before you bond with silicone or mastic they dont like dirty surfaces, try to keep them in place while mastic sets with an old car sponge from behind or similar.goooooood luck.

Had exactly the same thing happen on mine. I used two part epoxy resin instead of silicon, the advantage being it cures solid in next to no time (5 mins) meaning you don't have to faf around for ages waiting for silicon to cure.
