Got my upgraded Griffith back from Austec today

Had a Cam change, Bosche Injectors, Pre-cats removed, some head work, ACT trumpet base & a MA Chip Remap (as I have said previously www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=259106&f=9&h=0)
Looking in the Engine bay it also looks like the induction pipes have been changed from the normal 'crinkley ones' to smooth black ones - but that was not on my invoice or requested - not that I am complaining.
The car now puts out a max of 303.7 bhp and 335.6 lb/feet of Torque - compared with 256bhp/280lb feet previously.
Only problem was that I had to drive the Griff back home in torrential rain this morning - hardly the ideal circumstances for trying out all that extra power!!
Once the rain had stopped however I took it for a quick spin through the Lewes tunnel (3 times!) and along the A27 before coming home via Ditchling Beacon. Car seemed to idle and pull better - but it was difficult to really put it to the test due to traffic and the slightly damp conditions.
... mind you I am off to Brugge & Lille (?!?) for a quick road trip next weekend - so hopefully that should allow me to fully experience the 'improvements'
