Briefly. Decided my new rear tyre was still a bit too slippery for wet road hoonery, came back, had coffee.

Likewise, 3 miles came home and had a beer. Decided to clean the bike instead was in and out of the garage like a jack in a box. Needed doing,so pleased with myself, shall settle down for further restorative beers.

I had to pick up the new CBR600RR this morning and it p!ssed it down all the way to the dealer got absolutely soaked. Was dryer on the way home but took it very easy with the new tyres.

Took the bike for it's MOT this morning - passed (phew), then back under cover by 10.30 am.

Taking it to Cadwell Friday evening, so riding into work Friday, then over the Humber bridge for an evenings fun.

I was amazed my rear tyre passed. It'll be trashed Friday night!

Cool, what's your initial thoughts? I guess it's difficult to comment after such a crap weather ride? Post some pics as well!

Why does it always rain when I book a service or MOT??

Still, Aprilia passed with flying colours and I had a bit of a blast on the way back as the roads had dried a bit. I'd forgotten how well it rides. It feels very tall compared with the R1 but it turns in so eagerly. Now I'm confused and wondering if I'm selling the right bike!

Just got back home in time to watch the Moto GP.
Had a little play around the Essex lanes this morning.
Only spitting with rain and reasonable grip, but those SUNDAY DRIVERS!
Pikey transit vans and ropey old trailers being towed by "visually impaired" muppets in people carriers.
F@cking car boot sales....

Initial thoughts are that i want to give more andit feels like it wants it too. So much more nible than my CBR600FY, been out again this morning done 100 miles now, only 500 to go then service the open her up!!!!! Brakes are good needed to use them a bit sharpish early when a sunday driver decided they were turning. Will be back out PM if the rain holds off. Pics will follow once i have cleaned it.
