We had lovely walm winds from Africa all day today, and I'm assuming that is the reason for finding this fella at the back of the beach tonight.

Martin.

PS - I've got big hands...he is 4" long easy!

How come he's got a full front leg in the first two but only half a one in the third photo?!

Great shots - astonishing detail.

Impressive. Would you recommend as a first 'proper' camera or would it be too advanced for a novice picture taker? I assume they cost upwards of £300?

They are down to a little under £2.5k at the moment.

If you "search" this forum there is a lot of good advice for 1st time SLRs.

Well, that's certainly upwards of £300.

Looking at the piccies, it certainly delivers.
