hotel in Paris with TVR friendly parking

Looking for a resonably priced hotel in Paris with secure parking.

any recomendations?

How much do you want to spend?
Last couple of years I've gone to Le Mans in a "mixed income" group and done the Paris stopover using Accor hotels at around £50 per night. Look for indoor parking on the list of hotel features.

We used the Mercure Paris Gobelins Place d'Italie last year and it had a small but very secure underground carpark. This year its the Suitehotel Paris Porte de Montreuil, same kind of price and again an underground carpark but this time its on the pereferique ready for the early getaway on Thursday.

I spend quite a bit of time in Paris so shout if I you need any more details.

That's true but we had fun all the same!

Believe me, the locals give no bloody quarter to a Brit registered pearlecent yellow Griff around the etoile - on the bright side there's no traffic system in the world that can scare me now

Secure (manned) underground parking across the road about £15 for 24hrs
Hotel is just round the corner from the steps/lift up to Sacre coeur for excellent resturants and bars than sit on the steps of Sacre coeur at the end of your evening and take in the views of paris....mint!

Girl friend used to live in Paris and is concerned about taking the tiv there and wants to take a train from the south.
I'm not a big fan of trains and want to drive (even if the parisien driving style is interresting!) this is good info.

Hi Custardkid,
We took the Cerbera to Paris at Easter. Parking was OK as we found a "TVR friendly" underground car park just south of the Trocadero roundabout (On 'Avenue Kleber').
We also parked on-street over the weekend and had no problems; other than drawing a crowd to look at the car!
The only 'interesting' part was negotiating wet cobbled roads with firm suspension and 18" spiders!

Does anyone know of TVR friendly parking in Nice? Either a hotel with secure parking or just a secure car park?

I've used the Raddison and the Meridien, both had great location with secure parking but seemed way over priced. I was using hotel points otherwise I'd have gone elsewhere but having said that the centre of the town is so conjested I can't imagine anywhere lesser has its own parking.

Oh, and the driving there is easily as interesting as in Paris - bon courage!
