993 C2S ocean - bank holiday lovin...

Have read through various forum threads on detailing here and several other sites. To be honest now at the stage where I have probably read too much ( I am totally new to detailing) .. So would be grateful for some opinionated advice to close on a shopping list now - noting the car is a 93 97 ocean blue. I have earmarked the coming bank hol to do a full beauty treatment for her. Paint is generally good with a few light scratches. I also intend to clay - first time for me so this is just a little scary but another subject.

So what would be your ideal team line up be - Clay to Wax. Grateful for specfic product rec's for each stage you would do and if poss where I can get them.

#2 Meguiar's step 1 (of the three step crystal system) HD cleanse
(#3 optional Meguiar's step 2 crystal polish)
#4 Harly wax (Carnauba wax - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/WOODS-AUTOMO ) lovingly massaged in by hand.

I'll be doing this myself in the next couple of weeks - unfortunately am away over the bank holiday weekend (in Holland visiting my best mate) so it'll have to wait

Many thx sideways - I bought the full package as u described. Thanks for advice. So,this is my start point re the detailing and no Zymol - an outcast already....

New to forum and 993s - but as a purist by nature myslef I'm lovin this. There is not one single subject that anyone agrees on and opinions are always along religous lines . Makes for an interesting life and good forum feed...
