I think "Polarbert" (Rob) hinted at this so I,ll start a new thread. Who,s interest in a convoy and a bit of minor fun (or Major if you don`t mind risking killing yourself or someone else) at the "Mad Roundabout" . I would prefer to watch but don`t mind joining a group and have my 5 mins of glory! I would think an early spin(excuse the pun) to the rounderbout best as I need to do some serious drinking Fri night and want to get any driving done and dusted early! So anyone interested?

Could do a drive through the roundabout, but wouldn't want to 'perform' as you can't really get the tail out in a FWD shopping trolley.

I might be up for some fun on the roundabout, but it will have to be early as I intend on being a spectator again this year with a number of beers involved! I'm a little worried about giving it too much in the TVR as I don't want to hit the curb or spectators! I'll have to have a bit of practice in advance

I had some fun last year in the T350 on the straight bit of road near Parking Bleu on my way to the Supermarket from Beausejour. I was stopped by a load of guys who stepped into the road, I didn't have a choice really. I tried to get out of it by saying the car was having problems with overheating, it didn't stop them though and they wouldn't let me pass... the TVR draws quite a bit of attention! They wet my rear tyres and made me "entertain them". It went quite well as I snaked down the road leaving tyre marks for a hell of a long way! It definitely entertained the crowds as they all cheered. Apparently it looked quite good from behind as my mate was in his race prepped Ibiza behind me also going shopping, the crowds ignored him though... they seem to be a bit picky

i will be there watching i think your better off doing it earlier in the day when there are fewer people there, its gets pretty mental there at night!! lots of pissed people standing in the road and not very much room for errors

I tend to agree with NickT, an early entrance before to many crouds then back with a few beers and......enjoy!!! What time does early mean then at "The Roundabout"?
What time are you going down NickT?

I have no idea what time. I'm camping in Houx Annexe and last time I camped there we were within stones throw of the roundabout. I seem to remember things started early evening but I wasn't really keeping an eye on my watch I have a feeling I may have already had a few beers by the time anything kicks off, in which case I will not be driving. Then again I may not have had any beers by then, but we will see.

If you spot me in Houx Annexe on Friday (or any day really) come over and say hi and see if we can arrange a quick parrade. I can't imagine there will be many Chameleon Green T350c TVRs there. I hope to have some PistonHead stickers on the car as well.
