This guy is realy going to struggle to sell this car his attitude is one of total un helpfulness this is a copy of his email reply when I asked if I could see a copy of the pre mot check
Hi, in all honesty i can't see any point in me trying to take a picture of the piece of paper with faults on and emailing it to you? the faults as stated on listing are the pre-mot check. If there were other faults i wouldn't of bothered saying it was pre-mot'd. I would of just listed it as needing an MOT.
Would this give you confidence ??

Ask him if he will take a cheque for £10,000 and deduct the balance, and forward teh rest to your brother in Nigeria. Tell him a shipping company will contact him to collect the Car

However difficult it might be, you'd think that he'd get the bonnet open by some means. The fact that he hasn't may suggest horrors lurking in there. And for the sake of maybe a couple of hundred quid, get it through the MOT. Unless, of course, there is more significance to not showing the pre-MOT list than is being disclosed.

My first thoughts were how could they do a pre mot with the bonnet shut ?? so I ask him that question and also what he thought were the chances of opening the bonnet with out damaging it this was his reply :

God I am glad I was scared off and have now found a genuine car with a top owner

The bonnet release came adrift on my 280i (I think they all have the same system).
It was a pain , but I did manage to get it open with the judicious use of bent wires.
Evidently the seller has some sort of problem, and who are we to judge him, but having an attitude akin to a bear with a sore head is not going to get you interest, let alone a sale.

The bonnet must have opened at some point, he's got a picture of the engine bay on pistonheads
