Hi all, had a very fun day on sunday, when my car decided to lock itself with the keys in the ignition and the car still running, luckily had spare key to open door but took some time to get it from the other side of London. In the meantime AA guy managed to get into the boot and shut down the engine.
Anyone know where I can get just a key cut ( My dad has a plastic one for his Audi), so I can keep on me incase this happens again ?
Thanks

Hi ,I had to get the full alerm/immobilser spec for the insurance company. Maserati UK were kind enough to fax the full details of the STANDARD alarm system on 3200's.
They definately do NOT pasive arm themselves, which caused my insurance co some furrowed brows, until they read all the things they do do.

Sorry- I know nothing about Maserati keys, but if you only need the actual metal part of the key to open the door, I know the AA used to do a credit sized key, which would hinge out, and fit in your wallet, just about. IIRC, you could order one from them and then have it cut yourself. Not sure if there was one for a Maser, but surely, there must be something similar on the market.
