I got a AccuMate charger when i bought my T350, as I havent used the car for a while and wont for a little while longer I wanted to put the battery on charge. I have a pair of crocodial clips and a sigy lighter attachment, do i need to get a special one that fits the booster port under the car or am i missing somthing?

Cheers

We can supply a connecting lead to plug an Accumate in to the Jumpstart socket if required. This will allow you to lock the car. It would also allow the doors to be opened if the charger is not fitted and the battery goes flat!

I have this , and as far as I'm concerened, this set-up is essential for these cars - I haven't had one problem since buying one - I could even mess with my satnav unit for hours because it was plugged into the accumate.

Excellent, thanks guys

Drop me a mail and i'll give you a call and get the proper fittment ordered for future use, but right now i'm gonna stick it on charge. Its no big leaving the car open but it'll be better to have the proper tools for the job.

I've got an Optimate, can these be used in the same manner? I would be very interested in purchasing the correct lead.

I have an Optimate - I made up my own fag lighter lead. Still lock the car and just feed the cable between the window and window seal. No probs for over 6 years!
