TVR at Canary Wharf

Its good to see that TVR are exhibiting at the Canary Wharf Motor Show after their absence last year.
They have got the Sagaris and Tuscan Convertible on show. Unfortuately the sales guys do not arrive until tomorrow, so at the moment you have the two cars and nothing else, no literature, etc. Hardly the best start, but at least it shows they are still in business.

Yep, saw them this morning as i arrived at work. They could have chosen better colours. The black sagaris doesn't show the lines of the car, especially in the reflective marble entrance of canary wharf, and the tuscan's blue/green flip look like it has faded!
Still lovely looking cars though.
Hate to admit it, but had my eye on the 911 Turbo - stunning car. Looked like it was doing 100mph just parked there!!!

It is, despite the large stone chip on the bonnet.
And "Hello!" to anyone who saw the fat beardy bloke struggling to get in and out of it this lunchtime. That was yours truly. It's too bloody small. (OK, I'm 6'3" and 19 stone, but I thought it was designed for PW?)

Bloke setting them up said they wanted to show that they were still in business, despite the recent rash of rubbish press articles.

Have another go with the seat cushion out and the steering column adjusted up. I'm 6'6" and I can drive one fine as I found out on a test drive the other day. On the other hand the passenger side is just painful because of the dash swooping towards the knees.

Did all that. It was OK, just, once I was in, but I'm not bendy enough to get through the door opening. I can't get in or out of an Elise with the roof on, either. Not that I have £50K, anyway ...
Full marks to John Heywood and co from Racing Green for making the effort to go to Canary Wharf.
The cars looked superb and were attracting a great deal of attention. More than can be said for the black Boxster around the corner.....not one visitor on the stand. Mind you it did look boring compared with the TVRs.

Just been to take a look, I love the colour scheme on the Tuscan. 
They only seemed to have one guy there which was a shame, I'd have like to have seen them putting more effort into actually selling the cars.
Walking around the other stands I've got test drives in the 'vette and the XK (not that I can afford either at the moment).
