Domster, did no-one ever tell you it's rude to put temptation in front of a man, feeble of mind and weak of character.......

That would look good with your number plate, eh, Terry?

Very good value. Especially with a 'sequential 5 speed gearbox'.

If the Ultima diodn't tempt me...

Looks like an excellent trackday toy. Trouble is, it would put me in the 'Most Gear, Least Idea' category.

Your point being....?

Only kidding!
I'm sure you can drive rings around me.
The fact that my car is on axle stands at the moment has anything to do with it whatsoever.

LOL, hi Night.

Fear not, I have even more exciting car purchase plans afoot (BMW 3 series V8 for sensible car, Ultima for fun ).

Send me an email if you get a chance as I lost yours when I changed jobs. Hope all is going well in Switzerland or wherever you are at the mo'!

Yeah temptation is certainly what got the better of me, I was looking for a Cerbera 4.5 having driven a couple and knowing exactly what I wanted... saw the Mantis... heard the Mantis... and bought it from Paul Stephens having spoken to Jem Marsh and Rory McMath about the feasibility of putting it on the road.

Currently having it converted to road legal thanks to Paul Stephens www.paul-stephens.com and Taylor Foundry Motorsport www.tfm-gt.com who own/race 2 LM600's. Should be on the road for mid April. The colour of the wheels is the biggest downside but I have to say that they don't look so bad in the flesh...

No.

Mind you, the weedy girly version is more than enough to scare the crap outta me.

Another 150 odd bhp more than I currently have would simply turn my face to mush and stain my trousers.

Not sure I'd fancy it either.

Cheers Night,
Will supply all details once I know it has passed SVA and is officially registered. I may also try and get it written up for a magazine, as one of the guys at TFM is photographing the build.
