hi everybody...

i just found this switch on the passenger side in the front, just after the leather compartment...
www.pascaltarabay.com/pamir/switch.JPG
i dont know if it is an original piece (attached by one screw?!) or something done by the first owner...
any ideas ?

You may find that it is a hidden ingition switch - more reliable than an immobiliser.

Would have also guessed that it is either the fuel pump inertia switch reset, or something to do with an alarm reset button.... cant think what else it could be...

Nitrous?

Cheers,

Paul

It looks to me as if it is a capillary type thermo-switch. It's the sort of switch which is supplied by Kenlowe with one of their fan kits. The shaft on the left of the picture will turn to adjust the temperature at which it switches. The brass pipe that comes out of the right side will go to whatever it is sensing - which could be.......who knows?

Sorry if this is no help whatsoever but it gives me something to do at lunchtime.

Kenlow fan switch, if not looks identicle to one, controls the temp at which the fans cut in.
