Have you spoken to Meta yet? I found them quite useful, as was the installing alarm centre who did the job a few years back.

I bought mine through a dealer for something like £45. I didn't have the red tag (about the size of a credit card) with the alarm details, but the dealer called the TVR factory to get the details to order a new one. I also had one fob which you need to programme the new fob using a little rinky-dink combination of button presses. If you haven't got a working fob then it may need to go back to the dealers.

This is slightly complicated in that the fobs are coded differently and there's a maximum number of fobs that can be issued that teh car will recognise. Speak to your dealer is my advice.

I bought my spare through TVR Barnet (about 40 squid) - they get new ones (your shouldl have an original code card with the car!) - reset your alarm to sync the new ones . . .funny thing was that the guy said it was a 5 minute job . . . took him at least half and hour!

Got a fob through the post from Meta via the dealer. Enclosed were instructions on programming, neither myself or the dealer (official TVR) could do it, now waiting for a new alarm module (what ever that is). When programming the new fob you have to re-programme the existing one, take care not disable the working for (I assume it can happen), luckily it is a warantee claim. Good luck
