OK, as some of you may know my cars been off the road for a while, lets say 5 months !!

Its had loads of work done;

Full Engine rebuild inc new pistons and Top hat liners (std cam)
Gaz Gold Shocks and springs
New Screen Stitched
Touch up respray - £1200.
Two new front tyres (Falkens)
New Clutch pipes
Rear Diff Bushes

Its at Austec, so what do you reckon my final bill will be ??

I pick it up hopefully at the weekend so will reveal all then, God i'm so not going to like this bill am i !!

Surely you know what its going to cost? You would have to be to let any garage work on your car without agreeing a price first.

What on earth is a 'screen stitch' or a 'touch up respray @£1200'

I'm guessing somewhere north of £7,000 but I'm more interested in how much you're going to tell your OH it cost...

Seeing as it's at Austec I'd say a lot but you get what you pay for and all that. I'd say somewhere around £8k.

Ah well, it's only money. I'm sure you'll get £9500 worth of pleasure out of it this summer alone (when it starts)
