... and I made a whole 50 cents!

They sold for 25c each.

I reshot this one after learning a bit about exposure, even photoshopped the logos out myself this time

Just out of interest - how do you intend cashing the US Dollar cheque without losing it all in bank charges ?
I dont plan on cashing cheques until they reach the $1000+ mark. Saves me having to do admin (making notes for the tax man - still looking into this) each time I earn 500-600 quid.

Ive sold 7 images so far with Shutterstock I'll see how it goes - the plan is to sign up with many stock sites, whether I end up doing this remains to be seen. Its a lot of work for not very much money initially. But potentially a lot of money for doing very little every month further down the line.

I think banks charge you a tenner or there abouts with each transaction, plus a very small percentage. Not sure. Alternatively, you can request a payment via paypal, moneybookers, etc.

Nicely done, Bob.

I must say, I submitted a few of my photos to istockphoto and I've sold the most images of shots I have like your pen and calculator shot...making $2

Still, at least you now know that people want your images
