What car are the rear lights from?

Does anyone know what model car the rear light clusters are from on a 1999 SP6 Cerbera?

Seen some nice replacements on ebay, but wonder what other options might be available - but need to now make first.

Anyone have the answer?

Earlier cars were Fiesta, the later cars I thought were TVR own design housings with off the shelf (truck lights perhaps) individual lenses.

Avoid some of the nasty options - original or the later 'tank' lights are best.

Got mine from www.quadconversions.com/tvr_chimaera_and_cerbera_led_aft.htm ,after deciding to bring the "earlier" style Fiesta clusters, upto post 2000 era....

Yes, early lights are Mk3 Fiesta units mounted upside down.


Later ones are same shaped housings with various combinations of lights from a Land Rover 101 Forward Control Vehicle. You can often get the lenses for them from places that do Land Rover spares.




Any of the aftermarket Mk3 Fiesta conversions will fit, but some of them are horrid.

Strange, but I don't think I have ever seen the original Fiesta lights! Everyone I've seen has had some kind of conversion!

I made my own, will see if i can dig out a photo when i get home...

wasn't keen on lexus style and the afterburner conversion is a bit steep...

I think it was the Griffith that had upside down cavalier lights. The cerbera ones look the right way up

Maybe I'm thinking of something else, like the Noble M12 (Mondeo lights, but I can't remember if they're the right way up).

To be fair though, TVR did fit the light units upside down on most of their range over the years:

Grantura - Mk II Cortina
S Series - Mk III/IV Escort
Griffith - Cavalier

Bound to be others

here you go...i managed to do these for a lot less than the £400 odd for the *common* conversion!



Not to everyones taste but can be replaced with standard items in ten minutes flat...

I bought some Fiesta MK3 lamps & some Fiesta MK4 'afterburner' lights from ebay...combined the two.

Only said home made as there is nothing on the market that look like that Rob. Nothing derogatory.
