Anyone disappointed with bike in real life compared to piccy

Well today i was parking the R1 and looked across at a T-Junction,dark grey metallic bike sitting ready to draw away,had a quick look and carried on with my business,then looked at it again and thought,mmmm.is that one of those,then i thought no,doesn't look good enough,then when i saw the number plate with the year 06,oh i thought,it must have been,it was the new zzr1400?A bike i've lusted after in pics(i had a ZX12R)but to be honest with you i was totally underwhelmed when i seen it in the flesh,weird?I actually thought it was an old big ZX of some kind when i first glanced at it.

I'm pretty underwhelmed by it in the pictures, but then I'm not keen on most '80s model Ferraris either . . .

Called into the local Kwaka dealer last week to see what I could expext for a trade in on the Thundercat against a ZZR 1400. I asked when they were expexting them in, and he said Id just walked right past one. I would aggree not quite as stunning as shown in the advert blurbs and vids but all the same, streets better than the aging Blackbird and tubby Bussa. Gave the man £100 and asked for a blue one (Will look better and quicker than the grey one they had in stock)

Dealer is expecting next batch of bikes next week, but is unsure if mine will be amongst them

Cool, it's an exciting bike that's for sure... Hope you get it soon - looking forward to some feedback on her...
