Can you get back deleted emails?

[anniesdad]

Simple question really, I was wondering if there was a way to retrieve deleted emails from a web-based email server?

Thanks.

Most Webmail clients will move a deleted item into 'trash' you could try there.

Thanks Jamie. Will give it a go.

If not, contact your host ASAP, they might have backups of the mail from before you 'read it' in your mailbox.

You could try some software like this (before the event!!!)

It's not for me actually but my Sister. The webmail is a wanadoo account if that gives any further clue ie. there is no host. Sorry to be so cryptic previously.
