Damaged RHD 964 / required ?

A long shot but I don't supose that anyone know's the whereabouts of a damaged 964 /993 for sale at the moment

Or good salvage companies that specialise in these.

Looking for one for a race car project so a pannel damaged would be great !!!!

Could I suggest that you might be better off with a good straight car to start with. You are going to spend a lot of money on the car and need to make sure when everything is done you`re left with a millimetre perfect vehicle. There is a bit of a mis-conception about track based cars that they are all knackered old hacks. They probably get 10 times the money spent on them over the course of a year than their road equivalent.

A bit like building a house on shitty foundations.

Not wishing to be did respectfull but having looked at several aledgedly clean race cars over the last few weeks to be honest most of them seem to be absoloute rubbish !!!

Now I know thee are many generally rubbish 964 and 993's about anyway but people's expectations of race cars must be very different to mine.

i.e. went to look at one yesterday which was described as excelent condition not a mark

so after a 4 hour round trip and 10mins looking at the car

it was a rusty as hell, bubbleing paintwork on rain gutters size of my hand and dents and scratches on every pannel the size of tennins balls, bolted in cage but with only half the required ammount of bolts used !!!!!! the list went on

Rant over

So in short as we have a bodyshop on hand we were trying to look for a good road car that had either had rubbish interior or pannel damage as we intend to strip the car right back anyway
