She fires but won't run
Discussion
Evening all
Following my recent post re water in pass. footwell affecting the door ecu etc.... (2004 tam)car now fully charged everything seemed sorted, went to go for a run as rain finally ceased and found it fires up ok no problems with battery etc. but cuts out almost immediately, did this a few times same thing but did notice there was not the usual humming noise during the start up sequence. Suspect that the fuel pumps not priming/working - fuse ok - have noticed past few runs a high pitched whining from the back. Anyone any ideas or had similar??
TIA

Are you in the RAC/AA? Get them to have a look. Sounds like something is still soggy down there.
The priming sound might be the fans adjusting the flaps. Turn on the ignition with the fan button pressed off and see if it still 'primes'.
Could be the inertia switch (passenger side - was under dash on a Chimaera, not sure about T cars).
