Help - Cup Steering Wheel problem

Need a bit of Help here chaps can anyone tell me if the Porsche motorsport 993 Cup car Quick release Hub mechanism will fit the 964 RS Steering column Gert from Carnewal doesn't know for sure and I would like to buy one for my 964 RS

why not try speaking to Paul at GT Classics or Thomas at H&S....you bought the car through those guys right ?? and I'm pretty sure they do / have done a fair bit of hands on with their cars. In fact when I first met Paul at Spa last year he said he'd been up all night putting the finishing touches to his 993 CS to RSR spec car which Sambaman now has.

If you buy it and it doesn't work let me know as I'll have it off your hands for my 993 RS.

No guarantees, but I would expect it to fit......one clue may be the part number of the steering boss...many parts carried over to the 993 from the 64 still start with 964xxx etc..... surely if it has a 964 part number like this it should fit??!!
