Can anyone advise me if a chimy will fit in a garage with a 7foot (2.13m) opening?

Thanks

3 bits of information I have printed off over the years state Chimaera widths as:

1.867m, 1.865m and 1.855m. I don’t know which is correct and none say if this includes the mirrors.

As someone else said, you'll get the car in but will find it difficult to get in and out - I have to leave the roof panel off to enable easier ingress & egress.

Mind your ankles - Catch them once and you'll understand!

Don't know how wide my garage us, but its very small and my chim fits in just about. Be sure to gaffer-tape some towels/rug/carpet to the wall to protect the doors!

I've fitted an old bathroom mirror to the nearside, helps get really tight against the wall.

(err, that was nearside of the garage .....)

My chim fits into a my standard sized garage fine and I don't have any problems getting in or out of it. It's a lot smaller than my alfa 156 which I really can't get out of very easily at all.

It's only the opening that's seven feet wide!

Driveway is more of a problem for me that the garage which is slightly wider. I measured it all up and marked a line down the drive and into the garage with an angle grinder. To put the car away I simply fold the drivers mirror and keep the front and rear wheels on the line, gap is about four inches in places.

As said a bit of carpet on the wall helps protect the doors.

7 foot opening is ample, but recommend 10ft 6inch garage width minimum.

Why do they build garages in this country? they are a waste of space[unless you own an old style mini!!]
