Got a call from a lovely girl today, stunning 28 year old who needs some nude photos taken for her website

I sent her my stock pics, told her I was an amateur and only knew the basics of small object photography, but we got on quite well and Ive got my first shoot provisionally booked for next Saturday

Ed, I told her I'd be bringing my assistant who has some proper lights, tell me you're free!

Im sure I can do it, if I pretend she is a calculator

Good luck Bob!

Seriously though... How are you going to light the shoot? Have you considered what backgrounds you are going to use? Or props? Poses?

Personally I'd give this a wide berth, way too much chance of it looking like a dodgy readers' wives effort! That being said - if there is nothing riding on it - it's free experience and you get to ogle a naked bird.

Might I recomend a perusal of Playboy. They have a number of books that might give some ideas as to posing/props/clothing etc.

They have 3 dedicated to blondes, brunettes and redheads so good ideas about what goes best with what hair colour. They also have the 50 years of the girls book with loads of photos.

Playboy always try to make the photos appear more art, rather than here's a bird with the full english breakfast on display.

or so I'm told anyway, never even heard of playboy myself

Cheers.

I covered the basic points on the phone this morning

Ed is sorting out the lighting (he just didnt find out about it until after ). She is sorting out the backdrops (rug to lie on, with white sheet drops, possibly a black one. And I pointed her to the nudes on photo.net and recommended we pick/agree some workable poses before the shoot. I'd like to have a plan.

We didnt do her website, but will be tidying it up a little. I'll sort out a model release and post pics when they've been taken

She said she would like to do more shoots with me after this one So long as ed learns his place as my assistant I have a (TFP) model to work with now too.

Thanks for the suggestion Jimothy. I'll no doubt be back for advice before the shoot when we've all agreed a plan

Good luck. Stiff upper lip and all that.

I recommend you to the Clud for a special Nikon Stiffycat for this work above and beyond the call of duty. !!!

Yes boss

I'm just going to see how Rob manages to fit her into his light tent, and how long it takes to decide on what lens to shoot with

I'll pay Ed £20 for a photo of you trying to shove a naked woman into a light tent, without touching her inappropriately!

Earlier this evening, Lord Ed was spotted in a female form meeting far far away, and was overhead saying:
"She's all yours bounty hunter. See to it that she finds her way into the light cube. Poah, take the model and the Wookiee to my ship, and reset the chamber for Dobbo."
