Haven't been for a couple of years, when I last went in 2002 I stayed in Karting Nord. There are a large group of us going (about 12 vehicles). In Karting Nord, the people that got there first just taped off a large square area for all of us.

This year I am going over on Wednesday, with four cars. Is it practical in Beausejour to tape off a large area for 12 cars? The remaining 8 are arriving on Thursday and Friday.

I had heard somewhere that at Beasejour it is organised as just one long line, so car/tent/car/tent/car/tent etc. Is that true?

There's no need to tape off your own area, the helpful marshals will do it for you plus issue you with binbags. It's just like the other sites but with more room.

its yer typical one field followed by another field followed by another field. It goes on a bit and last year had some fast food vans towards the exit/entrance. I would think you would be ok taping off a bit of space long as you dont take the piss Mind you 12 cars thats gonna be a bit of taping action

Well the ACO say you get 7x5m for each ticket. So for 12 cars that is an area 21m x 20m, so as long as I have a 100m roll of tape, I should be OK.

we've been in BSJ for the last few years; when you arrive depending on the marshal, they may attempt to get you to park in lines..

we ignored them.

And we do tape up an area for 17 cars and 25+ tents, generally in the vicinity of SpeedChills.

two years ago it was 2 fields, Last year there were 4, and looked like there may be more this year too.

Some fast food places turned up near the middle last year on the Friday. Made it less of a hike to get a spicy sausage and beer for brekkie

Was a great atmosphere there too.

Was over in April and confirm that more land has been cleared around Speed Chills - before long it will go all the way back to Arnage!

Beausejour is a great place. You can get in and out easily and skip the traffic jams if you're going to do your daily groceries (read: when you need more beer).

I don't understand why it is the least popular campsite. We've been there the first year we stayed on the camping (all other tickets were sold-out), and have been going back there ever since...

How far is Arnarge from the Speedchills enclosure? I'm sure that was a light hearted comment, but is it walkable? Don't suppose there's any chance of a Chills fun-bus out there????
