fixing the rear transaxle mount

Looks like the factory uses thinner nuts than standard to mount the rear mount to the transxle. Anyone removing the studs to fit a longer one allowing a standard size nut?

Ken,

Have you thought of calling the factory to ask? I'm sure that they have a very good reason for doing it (as thinner nuts are harder to come by than your bog standard regular thickness ones). Maybe there's a clearance issue. It would be a pity if you went to all the trouble of modifying it, just to find that the nuts foul on something )
