Buying a bike today (maybe!)

The FS is/was a fuel injected FX with a few tweaks. slightly stiffer head area on the frame and lower gearing?, not sure if that was fact or just Honda marketing speak.
I had an FX about 6 years ago, I thought it was great little bike, very smooth and easy to ride.
I heard the early fuel injected bikes were a little snatchy by comparison, I never rode one so I don't know for sure.
The FX's were prone to rattles from the cam chain. Easy enough to fix, by manually winding the cam chain tensioner up a little. Maybe Honda put that right on the next bike anyway?
My FX used to shake it's head a little (a lot of Honda's do) just a wiggle really, it never developed into a "full on slap". I quite liked it, but it could be a bit disconcerting for an inexperienced rider.
The std suspension was a bit odd as well, very soft springs in the forks and most of the damping used to disappear after about half an hour of spirited riding. The adjusters at both ends made stuff all difference from full in to full out!
In spite of the dodgy suspension the bike was surprisingly quick on the road, the softness allowing you to fly over rough surfaces that would have had a Ducati leaping all over the place. For track days you would want to sort the suspension out!
Otherwise a terrific little bike, which provided it has been looked after properly, should have no real problems.
