Does anyone know if Radio Le Mans is on digital at the track? I have a nice portable digital radio and wondered if I could use that this year?

If you're in the UK or Ireland, you can listen live via Globecast Radio on the SkyDigital satellite platform, channel 0157.

Not quite sure if this is the same thing or not?? Either that, or 91.2 on your FM dial.

There's no digital at the circuit. The way that DAB works suggests to me it's not really designed for local broadcasting at events. Back to FM I'm afraid, but that's no bad thing - at least the signal should be good...!

If I ask nicely, do you think they will boost the power to reach about 9 miles outside of Le Mans.

It's the one thing I miss not stying by the circuit.

Surprised you can't get it. I stay about 7-8 miles from circuit entrance and pick it up fine. Would have thought signal reached 9 miles.

For full glorious full frequency stereo, if you have a dish hooked up & a tv on the campsite, & can understand this:
Point your satellite dish to 28.2 degrees East, and you'll find us on transponder D9S, at 11.604GHz, with a symbol rate of 27500, FEC of 2/3, and PID of 50864, tune into channel 0157, and you'll get the RLM coverage on that (feed via Globecast Radio), plus coverage of the footy on other channels too......well you did ask for digital info!(won't be transmitting on DAB however- ££££££'s!)

Alternatively, speak nicely to your hotel for a Sky Digital feed in your bedroom, or an internet connection & jump onto www.radiolemans.com or www.0157.org (dial up should work too).
