I did this last year, quite good fun. Alpine road is best. The rest is fairly 'so so'.

Have fun.

How are you finding the XKR versus the Maser? I was tempted and nearly picked up a 2001 XKR recently but walked away when I found otu a few issues with it. Since then I've been turned to the dark side an am in middle of purchasing a 3200 GT.

Still love the XKR though - but thought 3200 had more space in back for kids etc, which was a factor when looking for the next 'right' car.

Cheers,

its funny, to me they feel remarkably similar. The 3200 is a bloody great great car & I loved it. It definitely has more room in the back & you can carry adults, the jag has the bigger boot though.

Performance wise there isnt much in it, the jag does feel quicker than my auto 3200, its slightly less stiff but thats probably because its a cab.

I love it, it doesnt completely stir my soul but it ticks most boxes for an alternative to the RS4 for myself & the missus & child on sunny days & it can be a bit of an animal if you want it to be, very glad I got black & didnt get 20inch alloys as they'd be bu99ered by now. It has a lot of toys too.

You'll love the 3200.
