Has anyone ever read or used this book? The full title is Canon Modern Classics F1; FTb; EF; AE1 and AE1 Program; A1. My father will be giving me his AE-1 in 2 weeks but he doesn't have the manual. I've found the manual online but was wondering if the Hove book offers much more than the manual.
Is that a no then? No one has read this particular Hove Foto book? What about any other Hove Foto books? I'm just trying to figure out if its worth shelling out for it or if it will just be a reprint of the manual.
I had a Magic Lantern guide (distributed by Hove) for the Canon A1. There wasn't much in it which wasn't in the manual but it was rather better organised and easier to read.
Thanks. In that case I guess I'll wait and see. If I'm struggling with the camera then I might shell out for the Hove book.
